Swine Flu Policy
Please read the following and everyone must abide by this policy
Prevention of Swine Flu:
To reduce the risk of catching or spreading the virus you should:
- cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, using a tissue
- throw the tissue away quickly and carefully
- wash your hands regularly with soap and water
- clean and disinfect hard hand contact surfaces (like door handles and taps) frequently with a normal cleaning product
Key information for volunteers, participants and visitors to Jalsa
about swine flu:
- If you have no symptoms – work/visit as normal
- If you have had contact but display no symptoms – work/visit as normal
- If you are taking Tamiflu but display no symptoms – work/visit as normal
- You are only contagious when you have symptoms.
- If you have symptoms, stay away from the Jalsa and stay at home.
- If you develop symptoms at Jalsa, report immediately to the First Aid tent and then go home as soon as possible.
