Inaugurated on October 3rd, 2003

His Holiness, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, head of the world wide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community inaugurated Bait-ul-Futuh mosque in Morden, Surrey on October 3rd, 2003. Bait-ul-Futuh is the largest mosque in Western Europe accommodating 10,000 worshipers in three prayer halls.

More than a Mosque

Bait-ul-Futuh is conveniently located next to Morden South Railway Station and 150 yards from Morden Tube Station. The mosque includes a gymnasium, offices, library and television studios. Since its inauguration, the mosque has been host to almost all of the weekly Friday Sermons delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V.

Largest Mosque in Europe

Bait-ul-Futuh is the largest mosque in Western Europe accommodating 10,000 worshipers in three prayer halls. The mosque sits on 5.2 acres of land, cost £5.5 million to build and was funded by the donations and contributions from the community’s members.

Muslim Television Ahmadiyya

Bait-ul-Futuh is also home to the Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International Studios (MTA). There are two studios on site that are home to over a dozen television shows, news broadcasts, and other media. Bait-ul-Futuh is the home to weekly Friday Sermons delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad. These sermons are broadcasted live across the globe via MTA in over 13 different languages.
